The Kiwanis Club of Wedowee is a non-profit organization dedicated to "Serving the Children of the World".
Kiwanis raises money to get iodine to countries that do not have iodine plants for their salt, which is a severe problem that causes mental retardation.
Kiwains also sponsors RIF (Reading Is Fundamental), and read to the Head Start children in the area and give them books provided by Kiwanis.
These are just a few of the many projects that Wedowee Kiwanis Club sponsors, and there are many more that we could do if YOU were a member!
