Enrollment in county schools changes little
Full Description:
The student population in Randolph County Schools is basically the same as last spring with only seven more students in attendance as school started back last week.
This year's total enrollment is 2,287. Last spring's enrollment was 2,280.
The schools with the greatest change were Randolph County High School, which added 17 students over last year, and Woodland High School, which lost 16 since last year.
According to Superintendent Wayne Wortham, there are 90 Hispanic students in the school system, comparable to last year's 91.
The majority of those - 40 students - are at RCHS, with 21 at Woodland; 20 at Wedowee Middle School; and nine at Wadley.
